Christmas watercolour workshop Bridgend

A joyful weekend of watercolour painting - thanks for being part of it.

Hey Reader

Just a little note to say a HUGE thank you for coming along to my Autumn Watercolour Flowers workshop last Saturday.

I absolutely loved spending the day with you and seeing what you all created - it's an absolute joy seeing how much more relaxed and creative everyone is when they leave. πŸ’›

I hope you enjoyed having a little play and discovered that watercolour doesn’t always need to be neat, controlled or perfect. Sometimes it’s just about picking up a brush and seeing what happens.

Lot's of you who came along asked if I would be running a Christmas Workshop and yes! I absolutely will. I'm literally just confirming the date this week with the venue.

You'll be first to know as soon as the date is secured...

The Joyful Watercolour Collective.

It’s my new online painting members space where we'll be coming together to disconnect and paint watercolours.

A gentle monthly watercolour practice designed to help you slow down, let go of perfectionism, and reconnect with creativity - one small painting at a time - a chance to switch off from everything else for a while.

Inside there's:
β€’ A bank of my Floral Painting Tutorials
β€’ Creative Reset Tutorial
β€’ Monthly Paint live sessions with me
β€’ Mini 5 minute flowers - painting projects
and a lovely little community of like minded creative folk...

No pressure to keep up. Zero judgement or comparison. Just somewhere to back to again and again to paint. It's pretty new and I'm offering ATM a founding member price.

Come and have a peek at The Joyful Watercolour Collective
And be one of my founding members...

But for now, thank you again for coming along at the weekend.
It was lovely to paint with you.

And I hope I’ll see you again soon!

Til next time,
Sue πŸŽ¨πŸ’›

P.S. I completely forgot to take a group photo at the workshop. So, please could you maybe email me a photo of your favourite painting from the day. Or tag me on Insta or Facebook. #SueHayWatercolour

Joyful Collective - Doors Open for Founding Members Hey ReaderCan I ask you something? When did you last sit down and paint just for the shear joy of it?Not because you wanted to learn a new technique or get better. Not because you needed to make something for someone. Not because you thought you should be doing something productive.Just because you wanted to paint to feel a little more calm & centered. It’s surprisingly easy for the things we love doing to get pushed to the bottom of the list,...
